Rose Petals

SpiralScarf2

Look what I knit up...it's a spiral scarf that I named Rose Petals. It only took 4 hours on bamboo needles. I thought I had too many scarves until I saw this scarf.

LITTLE (inserted) UPDATE!! I forgot to mention that this pattern is NOT "Ruffles" from the Scarf Style book. You can find this pattern here Also, the yarn I used is pure worsted merino from handpaintedyarn.com, one skein was sufficient.

Cashmere Pullover
Originally uploaded by Autumnsnow.

This sweater was knit last month but I didn't get a chance to take a photo. The pattern is from Weekend Knitting (Cashmere Pullover). I used Rowan Plaid instead of the recommended Cashmere yarn. It came out wonderfully and the best part was that I only had the sleeves to seam.

no fair! you hadn't posted the pic of the spiral scarf yet when i'd checked your blog earlier. it really does look like rose petals. i'm gonna have to find a good yarn to make that for myself. what did you use?

Wow! That is such a cool scarf! It looks so much like ruffles ... but it is a totally different (and easier) construction! I'm definitely going to be making one of those ...

You are a dreadful woman. I saw that scarf, and followed the link. I thought "That was gorgeous, and looks SOOooo easy, I could try it."

At 4 am yesterday morning, I finished casting off. At 8 am I was in school proctoring an exam.

And my scarf, while nifty looking, isn't half as pretty as yours. So I beg of you, before I lose another night's sleep...what yarn and which needles please???

I love your scarf. You chose lovely yarn for this project. I would like to make these for my twin granddaughters but my taste is not appreciated by young ladies. Would you please share the colorway and the needle size you used? I would be forever beholden to you.
