This shrug was knit a long while back and I totally forgot that I had taken a photo. This is made with some generic acrylic yarn but I like it none the less.

Blocked and finished (except for weaving in the ends) here is Diamond Fantasy Shawl. I loved working with this pattern. I used approx. 4 balls of Baby Cashmere. for this.

I finally got a photo of me in my Bulky Cable Cardi. It took me forever and a day to sew the buttons on (because I'm lazy) and it turned out wonderful. I have only gotten to wear it once as it is getting warmer here. Photo courtesy of my good friend Haiying. :)

Thank you all for wishing me a swift recovery. I am almost back to my old self again and hope to finish up those socks as well as other projects soon.

Withdrawls

Unfortunately I have to withdrawl from the Knitting Olympics. Due to food poisoning I will not be able to complete my project in time and have been intaking fluids and getting bed rest. Good luck to all the other contestants.

Jaywalking

Still knitting away at my first sock. I went with the Jaywalker pattern and progress has been a little slow as this is my very first pair. Photos to come.

Knitting Olympics here I come

Hearing about the knitting Olympics made me think that it would be a good idea to join. I am joining in and going to knit a pair of socks. This will be my first time ever knitting socks so 16 days seems a little tight. But I'm willing to face the challenge.
